What we see now in this drawing is what the universe looked like around 10 billion years ago, so in a way we are looking into the past........hard thing to wrap your mind around.
This drawing took me around a month to do in my cramped apartment. I documented it as I went along as you can see above. It was based off of the deepest photo ever taken of the universe. While drawing it I made up some of my own galaxies so it is a bit of a mix.
It was all done in prismacolor pencils.
